Manuchehr Motabar Exhibition

Manuchehr Motabar He is an artist whose six decades of continuous artistic work has influenced Iran's contemporary art in many ways. Motabar has always been an unbounded artist far from the temporary storms of the art scene and the excitement of being seen. Motabar freed the language of design from the level of academic definitions and added new dimensions to it despite his remarkable strength in classical design. By moving between painting and drawing, he created works that have a painting identity in a design space.

طراحی‌های معتبر، زیست اجتماعی زن ایرانی را در بستر سنت‌های تحکیم شده پس از انقلاب ۵۷ به تصویر کشید، این درحالیست که آثار کم‌تر دیده شده‌ی زنان نود معتبر در پیش از انقلاب ۵۷، زنی دیگر را بازتاب می‌دهد که او هم جغرافیا و تاریخ خاص خود را دارد. در کنار ردپای مستقیم نقاشی‌های منوچهر معتبر، دستخط خاص او را می‌توان در نسل شاگردانی دید که هریک طراحان فیگوراتیوی قدرتمند، اما رها از غل و زنجیرهای طراحی آکادمیک هستند.

Motabar created a new concept and a contemporary language in design, and many of her students manifested the basis of this creation in their works.
