In the past, ornaments and representations had a bearing on the human body to create beauty, but in contemporary ornaments, in addition to the aesthetic dimension, presentations have also found a conceptual place.
\nThe burqa, which was a cover for women’s faces in different areas, has also followed this contemporary rule as a form of presentation in this work. In the burqa I created, using the mirror material and taking it out of the usual position of the mirror (which was used as a decorative element by needlework), this material has found a new position in terms of form and concept. The mirror is a reflective material, and this time It conveys the message to the audience that he encounters himself in the burqa, instead of seeing a part of another human face, he gets involved with a broken image of himself ….<\/p>\n
